Job summary

Stadtspital Zürich seeks a committed Strategic Controlling professional to join the Finance Department. You will support medical units with strategic development, act as a sparring partner for operational managers, and drive cost analyses, budgeting, and reporting improvements.

The role requires a university degree in business administration, several years in controlling, and strong IT skills with SAP and BI systems. Experience in healthcare and REKOLE data flows is advantageous.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in controlling.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Ability to clearly present and communicate complex relationships.

• You are accustomed to communicating at different levels and see yourself as a team player.
• High IT affinity and experience with SAP and BI systems.

Responsibilities

• In this role you will be a member of the Planning and Control team within Strategic Controlling.
• Manage financials of business units, ensuring cost and result transparency and developing improvement measures.
• Sparring partner for operational managers in the medical areas and advisory on strategic development for clinics.
• Create meaningful analyses and cost-effectiveness calculations and participate in annual budget preparation.
• Develop controlling instruments and reporting tools further and lead cross-functional projects (center accounting, outpatient tariffs, etc.).
