Job summary

Stadtspital Zürich seeks a committed Strategic Controlling professional to join the Finance Department. You will support medical units with strategic development, act as a sparring partner for operational managers, and drive cost analyses, budgeting, and reporting improvements.

The role requires a university degree in business administration, several years in controlling, and strong IT skills with SAP and BI systems. Experience in healthcare and REKOLE data flows is advantageous.

• In this exciting role within Strategic Controlling, you will be a member of the Planning and Control team.
• The core task of this department is the financial management of the business units, ensuring cost and result transparency, and developing measures to improve the financial situation.
• You will support operational managers in the medical areas as a sparring partner. Additionally, you will advise clinics on strategic development and work closely with medical controlling and operational accounting.
• You will create meaningful analyses and cost-effectiveness calculations and participate in the annual budget preparation.
• You will take an active role in the further development of controlling instruments and reporting tools.
• You will work on and/or lead projects on business and interdisciplinary topics (introduction of center accounting, outpatient tariffs, etc.).
