Google is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build and operate large-scale distributed systems with a focus on reliability, scalability and performance. You will collaborate with software and infrastructure teams to reduce incidents and improve uptime while keeping costs in check.

You will lead critical initiatives, mentor engineers, and contribute to capacity planning, monitoring, and postmortems in a fast-paced, inclusive environment that values curiosity and craftsmanship.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• 3 years designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
• 2 years of technical project leadership.

Aufgaben

• Engage in and improve the full lifecycle of services from design to deployment and operation.
• Support services prior to go-live with design consulting, platform development, capacity planning and reviews.
• Maintain services post-launch by monitoring availability, latency and health.
• Scale systems sustainably via automation and architectural improvements to reliability and velocity.
• Conduct blameless postmortems and drive continuous improvement.
