You will own projects from bold visions to tangible prototypes, collaborate with sport-science teams to validate data-driven designs, and leverage advanced digital manufacturing and AI tools.

Your mission

• Be a key player of the Innovation Design Studio and push the boundaries of On's pinnacle design- and technology platforms
• Own your projects from bold visions through to successful implementation and tangible prototypes
• Collaborate closely with On's sport-science teams to elevate data driven footwear design and innovation
• Leverage your progressive 2D and 3D design approach to co-create and co-define On's design vision
• Co-develop advanced prototyping workflows and leverage digital creation and AI tools to bring groundbreaking concepts to life
• Collaborate with our Zurich- and Vietnam based development teams on crafting best in class performance-driven products.
• You will collaborate with and travel to Vietnam and Europe based development centres

Your story

• You hold a bachelor or master's degree in product/industrial design and/or design engineering
• 5+ years of experience working on global innovation teams delivering groundbreaking solutions designed for performance. Automation and robotics knowledge is a plus.
• Curious and entrepreneurial mind with the passion for pushing the boundaries of design and innovation
• Analytic approach – ability to break down complex problems, excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong data driven design approach that translates into highly functional solutions
• Deep knowledge in advanced materials and digital manufacturing processes, eager to experiment and pioneer new technologies
• Excellent 3D and prototyping skills, computational design knowledge is a plus
• Strong visualisation skills and AI fluency, always exploring the latest tools and effectively embedding them into your creative process.
• You thrive in cross-functional teams of world class experts, collaboratively engaging in creative problem solving.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
