Job summary

SCOR is seeking a Senior Software & Platform Engineer - Risk Modeling Platform to join the Tech team. The role centers on hands-on software development, Python, cloud, DevOps, and full-stack platform understanding.

You will work across modelling constraints, data integration, and application development to support risk modelling workflows and platform integration. You will collaborate with Quantitative Developers and IT teams, contributing to scalable, robust solutions on Azure, with Databricks

Qualifications

10+ years of professional experience building complex web applications.
Hands-on design, build and operation of cloud-based solutions (Azure).
Strong understanding of Python and Docker in production environments.
Proficient Git usage and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of OOP, FP, and SOLID design principles.
Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies in financial services context.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications.
Lead front-end and back-end tasks, including orchestration components.
Implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and related services.
Collaborate with quantitative teams on model execution workflows.
Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and data pipelines.
Work with Databricks, Big Data tools, and data platforms for large-scale models.
Maintain code quality, CI/CD, and DevOps standards.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
