Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Sensor Fusion and Perception Systems in Zürich. You will work on the XR world-sensing stack, including visual-inertial fusion, IMU-based motion understanding, and end-to-end system verification.

The role spans device qualification, image processing, and cross-functional collaboration across Google's Platforms and Devices teams. You will push the boundaries of spatial computing to enable delightful AR experiences on Android XR ecosystem devices,

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++ and modern C++ standards.
• Experience with computer vision pipelines and sensor fusion.
• Strong software development lifecycle and performance debugging skills.
• Experience with multi-core architectures and real-time embedded systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize software for XR sensing stack including visual-inertial fusion.
• Collaborate across platforms and devices to advance AR capabilities.
• Drive performance improvements and debugging across the stack.
• Contribute to odometry, localization, mapping and head-tracking algorithms.
