Corintis, based at the EPFL Campus in St. Sulpice, Switzerland, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain large Python-based systems used to simulate and design microfluidic cooling solutions for AI chips and GPUs.

You will report to the Head of Software Engineering and collaborate with software engineers, simulation experts, and product managers. You will influence the technical direction of our software, focus on performance and reliability, and mentor junior developers while

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with Python and its ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and HPC or simulation software (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design and build large-scale software systems, from the first architecture to the release.
• Write clean, efficient, tested and well-documented Python code.
• Convert user needs into clear technical designs, and deliver these designs as new features.
• Make software design decisions, and define best practices for design patterns, code reviews and tests.
• Review code and mentor junior developers to help them grow professionally.
• Find and remove performance bottlenecks, and fix the root cause of defects.
• Find technical debt, and reduce it together with the team.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools, and adopt the tools that make our development more efficient.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
