Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Agentic Risk & Posture team. You will help build the security layer for AI agents in production, analyzing tools, data and permissions to model exposure and emit risk signals.

You will design core features, tackle open-ended problems, and ship robust software in a fast-growing company that values ownership and hands-on contribution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of production-level coding across technologies.
• Experience building up or leading teams while contributing to core tech.
• Familiar with production level Python, or another programming language.
• Strong sense for product/customer needs.

The Agentic Risk & Posture team builds the security layer for AI agents in production. We discover agents across platforms and developer toolchains, model their tools/data/permissions and exposure, and turn that posture into explainable risk signals and guardrails, enabling organizations to adopt agents safely without slowing down innovation.

Responsibilities

Solve open-ended problems and build the security solutions of the future

Design and implementcore product features, we try tounderstand what makes agents risky and how this can be mitigated.

Find pragmatic solutions to complex algorithmic problems, scanning codeand configurations to spot malicious or vulnerable agents, MCP servers and skills.

Strike a balance between scalable code design and development speed. Shipping fast is key.

Help maintainDevOps stack to continuously improve our own development practices.

About you:

6+ years of experience or had exceptional impact at the organizational level in developing production-level code across a variety of technologies;

Experience in building up or leading teams while contributing to the core tech;

Familiar with production level Python,or another interesting set of programming languages;

Strong sense for product/customer needs;

Enjoy working on a wide range of algorithmic problems and designing efficient software systems;

Frequent contributor to open-source projects and an active participant in open-source communities;

Productive by yourself as you solve abstract problems independently and produce results without constant supervision;

Pragmatism, enjoy taking ownership, being hands-on, and getting things done while being mindful of our longer-term vision;

Excited about a front-row seat in a fast growing, early-stage company (a rapidly changing, often ambiguous and undefined environment);

Interest in AI security.
