Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Agentic Risk & Posture team. You will help design and implement security features for AI agents, balancing rapid shipping with robust, scalable software across platforms and developer toolchains.

You’ll work on designing risk signals, guardrails, and mitigation strategies, contributing to open-source communities and driving ownership in a fast-growing, global security company.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in developing production-level code across a variety of technologies.
• Experience in building up or leading teams while contributing to the core tech.
• Familiar with production level Python, or another set of programming languages.
• Strong sense for product/customer needs.
• Enjoy working on a wide range of algorithmic problems and designing efficient software systems.
• Frequent contributor to open-source projects and an active participant in open-source communities.
• Productive by yourself and able to solve abstract problems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Solve open-ended problems and build the security solutions of the future.
• Design and implement core product features, assessing what makes agents risky and how to mitigate it.
• Find pragmatic solutions to complex algorithmic problems, scanning code and configurations to spot malicious or vulnerable agents, MCP servers and skills.
• Strike a balance between scalable code design and development speed; shipping fast is key.
• Help maintain DevOps stack to continuously improve our development practices.
