Zusammenfassung

Ampersand World SA is seeking a Soft Commodities Operator for Lausanne to lead end-to-end execution of physical soft commodities trading activities. You will coordinate contracts, shipments, and settlements, acting as a key operational partner to traders and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidates possess 10+ years in related operations, strong GAFTA contract knowledge, and fluent English and French communication.

Qualifikationen

10+ years in soft commodities trading operations or similar.
Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
Experience with GAFTA contracts and trade finance instruments is essential.

Aufgaben

Manage the full 360° execution of physical soft commodities trading activities from contract finalisation to shipment and settlement.
Act as operational counterpart for traders, importers, exporters, charterers, banks, insurers and other partners.
Take ownership of end-to-end execution including contracts, nominations, shipment coordination and import/export formalities.
Draft, review and manage purchase and sales contracts ensuring GAFTA compliance and accurate documentation.
Coordinate and monitor import/export operations, including customs and shipping requirements.
Manage invoices, freight, cost allocation, reconciliation and final settlements with counterparties and service providers.
