Zusammenfassung

AB Commodities Group in Geneva is expanding its agricultural commodities trading team and seeks a commercially driven professional to join Tradeon SA. The role focuses on executing cross-border purchases and sales, building supplier relationships, and managing the full trading cycle across international markets in Europe and MENA.

You will work with logistics, execution, finance and risk teams, providing MTM evaluation and contributing to new market opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of experience in agricultural commodity trading, brokerage, merchandising, or grain/feed industry.
• Understanding of international trade in grains, oilseeds, feedstuffs and veg oils.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; advanced Excel required.
• Knowledge of physical commodity contracts (GAFTA/FOSFA), Incoterms and international trade documentation.
• Understanding of freight, logistics, rail, barge, coaster or container markets is an advantage.
• Ability to perform fundamental market analysis and evaluate MTM pricing.
• Basic knowledge of futures markets (CBOT, MATIF) and hedging principles.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills; commercial mindset with ownership.
• Willingness to travel internationally; able to work under pressure in fast-moving markets.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Execute the purchase and sale of agricultural commodities and feed materials across international markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, brokers and logistics partners.
• Identify trading opportunities through market analysis, price movements and arbitrage.
• Negotiate terms and conclude physical trading contracts.
• Monitor global markets, macro trends and trade flows.
• Manage full trading cycle from negotiation to execution, shipment and completion.
• Prepare, review and follow up on contracts and documentation.
• Collaborate with logistics, execution, finance and risk teams to ensure smooth trade execution.
• Monitor MTM, support risk management per company policy, contribute to new market opportunities.
