Veeda AI in Zürich is seeking a Member of Technical Staff - Simulation to join a small, fast-moving team building multimodal foundation world models for Physical AI. You will integrate world models with simulator APIs (Isaac Lab, Carla) and extend a physics-based simulation framework.

Responsibilities include building a robust scene and asset pipeline with OpenUSD, URDF, and MJCF, ensuring deterministic rollouts, and measuring fidelity against real hardware traces.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• Experience building or substantially extending a physics engine or simulation framework (Newton, MuJoCo, PhysX, or something proprietary).
• Strong C++ and Python skills and experience writing GPU code in CUDA, NVIDIA Warp, or an equivalent data-parallel framework.
• Fluency in 3D content pipelines (OpenUSD, glTF, meshes, materials, coordinate frames, units, inertias).
• Ability to measure simulation fidelity and close quantified gaps between simulators and the hardware they model.

Aufgaben

• Simulator integration: connect world models to existing simulator APIs familiar to customers (Isaac Lab, Carla).
• Harness engineering: rethink classical to physical AI harness equivalents.
• Synthetic data generation: own the loop to collect success/failure cases of both algorithms.
• Scene & Asset pipelines: build procedural scene generation and asset authoring on OpenUSD, URDF, MJCF with automated decomposition and inertia.
• Throughput & Determinism: keep rollouts replayable with fixed seeds and configurations.
• Environment API & Fidelity: own interface policy training runs and regression benchmarks against real hardware traces.
