Pharmaceutical development in Basel seeks a senior leader to head a team of process engineers focused on developing and qualifying sterile parenteral drug product manufacturing processes across clinical through commercial stages.

You will provide technical oversight for scale-up, process characterization and validation, ensure robust designs for successful validation and commercialization, coach 8–12 engineers, and represent the function in global stakeholder meetings while driving harmonization

Formación

• Ph.D. in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience leading or managing groups of scientists and engineers.
• Strong technical expertise in parenteral process development.
• Ability to prioritize resources across a complex organizational network.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of process engineers developing sterile drug product manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical oversight for scale-up, process characterization and validation.
• Ensure process designs are robust for effective validation and commercialization.
• Coach and develop a team of approximately 8-12 process engineers.
• Represent the function in stakeholder meetings and drive global harmonization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing sites and CMOs.
