Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a seasoned leader to head a team of process engineers developing sterile manufacturing processes for parenteral drug products from clinical to commercial stages. The role focuses on technical oversight of scale-up, characterization, and validation in a global setting.

You will mentor 8–12 engineers, represent the function in stakeholder meetings, and collaborate with sites and CMOs while traveling up to 20%. A Ph.D. and at least 8 years in biopharma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience leading or managing groups of scientists and engineers.
• Strong technical expertise in parenteral process development.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of process engineers developing sterile drug product manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical oversight for scale-up, process characterization and validation.
• Ensure processes are robust for validation and commercialization.
• Coach and develop a team of approximately 8-12 process engineers.
• Represent the function in stakeholder meetings and drive global harmonization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing sites and CMOs.
