Job summary

Destinus Engineering is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to lead RAMS efforts across defense systems and products throughout the lifecycle. You will collaborate with design, test, and supply chain teams, guiding reliability decisions and ensuring performance in demanding environments.

Strong leadership and teamwork are essential to coordinate with multi-disciplinary groups. The role requires extensive experience with FMEA/FMECA, RAM standards, and reliability testing, plus the ability to

Qualifications

BSc or MSc in engineering (electrical, mechanical, systems, or related).
7+ years of reliability engineering experience, preferably in defense.
Experience with FMEA/FMECA, reliability prediction, and statistical life data analysis.
Experience with RAM standards (IEC 60812, FIDES, ANSI/GEIA-STD-0009, ASD S3000L).
Hands-on reliability program management across design, test, and sustainment.

Responsibilities

Develop reliability program plans aligned with contract requirements and standards.
Conduct RAM analyses and modeling to support design decisions.
Define and run reliability test programs (HALT/HASS, environmental screening, accelerated life tests).
Contribute to design reviews (PDR/CDR) to improve reliability early.
Support sustainment including obsolescence and supplier reliability oversight.
Prepare reliability documentation and present to leadership and customers.
Allocate RAM requirements from system to subsystems and ensure maintainability.
