Job summary

Stadler Signalling AG in Switzerland invites experienced professionals to contribute to safety-critical vehicle and trackside software, aligned with EN 50126/50128/50716/50129. You will implement features in the NOVA Pro CBTC system and support driverless vehicle software initiatives.

Join a team developing software according to SDLC, perform integration testing, and support assessments and approvals. You will manage requirements, architecture, and design inputs, and collaborate with colleagues

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in signalling.
• Deep knowledge of railway standards (EN 50126, 50129, 50128 or 50716, TS 50701, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, IEC61131-3).
• Experience with IBM Doors Next Generation (DNG).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Programming in ST/FBD; C/C++ a plus.
• Experience with version control tools like Git and SVN.
• Good communication and ability to work harmoniously within a team.
• Ability to analyze and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Development of safety-critical vehicle and track-side software according to EN standards.
• Implementation of new features in signalling products, focusing on NOVA Pro CBTC System.
• Development of vehicle software for automated, driverless operation.
• Support for assessments and state-specific approvals.
• Prepare and maintain requirements specifications and architecture/design as input for validation.
• Implement code according to software component design.
• Integration test of subsystems upon software release of products.
