TXT e-Swiss, part of the TXT e-solutions Group, seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to enhance the quality of complex application systems for strategic banking IT projects in Switzerland. You will join a structured QA team focused on automation and CI/CD, designing reusable test frameworks and automating API, backend, and enterprise tests.

You will collaborate with development and architecture teams in microservices environments, define test strategies, and ensure quality-by-design practices.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years in software testing/QA in IT environments.
• Hands-on test automation for web apps, APIs, and backend systems.
• Proficient with Selenium, SoapUI/Postman, and JMeter.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar).
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript and solid SQL knowledge.

For strategic projects in the banking IT sector, we are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a team dedicated to ensuring the quality of complex application systems.

The Role

You will join a structured QA team, contributing to the quality of critical software platforms through a modern approach based on automation and continuous integration.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop scalable, reusable test automation frameworks
• Automate testing for APIs (REST), backend services, and enterprise applications
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams in microservices and distributed systems environments
• Contribute to defining the test strategy and adopting quality-by-design practices
• Perform functional and integration testing, quickly identifying issues and bottlenecks

Who We Are Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in software testing within IT environments
• Hands‑on experience in test automation for web applications, APIs, and backend systems
• Strong knowledge of tools such as Selenium, SoapUI / Postman, and JMeter
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages among Java, Python, JavaScript, or Groovy
• Good knowledge of databases (SQL)
• Fluent in Italian and at least B2 level in English
• Strong quality-oriented mindset and problem-solving approach

Nice to Have

• Experience in banking / fintech environments
• ISTQB certification
• Experience with microservices architectures / containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of Robot Framework
• Experience in performance testing
