Hitachi Energy in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Project Control Engineer to join our Power Converter Solutions team. You will plan and execute control engineering aspects of projects, from hardware and software concepts to documentation and testing on real-time platforms.

You will coordinate interfaces between customers, sub-suppliers, and internal teams, drive design reviews, and support commissioning, training, and tender documentation.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).

Your background

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's, from a university or university of applied sciences)
• Min. 5 years of relevant working experience
• Hands‑on experience with MATLAB / Simulink is essential, with structed text programming and Hidraw as added advantage
• Strong knowledge of process and power electronics control and software design (e.g. OLC, CLC, Protection, HMI)
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g. OPC, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3) is a plus
• Initial experience in testing, commissioning, or applied engineering is an advantage
• Willingness to travel globally for commissioning assignments (approx. 20% of working time)
• Fluency in English and German
