Responsibilities

• Drive innovation in wheat and rye milling by developing future‑focused process solutions from concept to successful implementation.
• Lead the integration of process technology, machinery, automation, and digitalization to create efficient, cost‑effective, state‑of‑the‑art milling solutions.
• Validate and optimize concepts through trials, pilot projects, customer applications, and selected plant start‑ups.
• Provide technological leadership and hands‑on process expertise to support Sales, Quotation, Fulfillment, and R&D teams while building milling knowledge through training and coaching.
• Bring deep milling expertise, strong problem‑solving and communication skills, proficiency with Bühler control systems, fluency in German and English, and a willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Extensive milling experience (minimum seven years in progressively responsible roles such as Technologist, Head Miller, or Production Manager).
• Diploma from the Swiss Milling School (SMS) or the Deutsche Müllerschule Braunschweig (DMSB) is required.
• Solid understanding of Bühler milling equipment and control systems combined with systematic and efficient problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams, manage conflicts, and build strong professional relationships.
• Proactive, creative, self‑motivated, market‑oriented, and capable of traveling internationally up to 30 % of the time.
• Excellent communication, consulting, and time‑management abilities; fluency in German and English.
