Vontobel in Zurich seeks a Client Associate / Senior Client Associate for its Private Clients Team covering South Africa to manage client portfolios with a client‑first mindset. You will handle account administration, cash management, transfers, and execution control with a focus on risk and regulatory compliance.

You will support relationship managers on KYC matters, client meetings, and investment proposals, ensuring smooth openings and closings of accounts while delivering high‑level service.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a similar position within the banking industry.
• Experience with onboarding of complex structures.
• Fluency in English and effective communication skills. German would be an added advantage.
• A strong team-player and a strong interest for a high-level client service.
• Good understanding of financial products and markets.
• Excellent IT skills (software tools, MS office).

Aufgaben

• Take ownership and support the management of a client portfolio, putting the client’s needs in first place.
• Be the go-to expert when it comes to the administration of the client’s accounts (cash managements, transfers, stock exchange orders and control of executions, fiduciary deposit renews, etc.).
• Use keen foresight in anticipating new risks through the accurate monitoring of risk and compliance indicators.
• Guide the relationship managers in KYC related matters, support them in the organization of client meetings and in the preparation of investment proposals.
• Ensure the smooth openings and closings of accounts.
