Job summary

NonStop Consulting AG is recruiting a Senior Oracle Finance Systems Specialist to bridge finance teams and systems experts across global finance operations. You’ll translate complex needs into practical Oracle-based improvements and strengthen processes and internal controls.

You will own Oracle modules for general accounting, payables, receivables, assets, treasury, expenses, tax and reporting, and drive monthly, quarterly and annual close with robust governance.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Experience in a SOX-controlled environment and ITGC.
• Broad functional knowledge across GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses, Tax and FR.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting or IS, plus professional certifications if available.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Understand challenges across Finance and convert them into scalable Oracle-based solutions.
• Take functional ownership of Oracle modules supporting general accounting, payables, receivables, assets, treasury, expenses, tax and financial reporting.
• Improve the quality and efficiency of financial reporting through tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View and Financial Reporting Center.
• Ensure that finance systems operate effectively during monthly, quarterly and annual closing periods.
• Create clear functional specifications, configuration records, testing materials and user documentation.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities for new implementations, system changes and quarterly Oracle releases.
• Provide advanced functional support and oversee the resolution of complex production issues.
• Help maintain a robust control environment covering SOX, ITGC, Segregation of Duties and audit requirements.
• Manage functional activities within Oracle Risk Management Cloud, including access controls, compliance processes and transaction monitoring.
• Work across business and technical teams to resolve recurring issues and simplify existing processes.
• Contribute to integrations between Oracle applications and the wider enterprise systems landscape.
• Deliver training to finance users and help them make effective use of available systems.
• Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing support to less-experienced analysts.

NonStop Consulting is supporting an established international organisation in the appointment of a senior specialist for its global finance technology function.

This position acts as the link between financial teams and systems experts. You will turn complex operational needs into practical system improvements, helping the organisation strengthen its finance processes, reporting capabilities and internal controls.

Your responsibilities

Your profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a comparable field
• MBA, CPA or relevant Oracle certification would be beneficial
• Around 8–10 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials
• Broad functional knowledge across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, Tax and Financial Reporting
• Previous experience supporting an international finance organisation operating within a SOX-controlled environment
• Sound understanding of IT General Controls, Segregation of Duties, audit controls and governance requirements
• Practical knowledge of Oracle Risk Management Cloud
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, Smart View, OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Center, REST APIs or comparable integration technologies
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and closing processes
• Confident communicator capable of working with both finance professionals and technical specialists
• Structured and analytical approach to resolving complex systems and process issues
• Ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously and support junior colleagues
• Willingness to travel occasionally
