Job summary

KPMG Switzerland in Geneva is seeking a Senior or Assistant Manager to lead Finance and Treasury management topics across audits and advisory engagements. You will handle financial instruments accounting, contribute to treasury innovations, and engage with large clients in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualified candidates bring a degree in business or finance, CPA progress, 4 years of audit experience with commodities, and fluency in French and English.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Finances, or similar.
• CPA ongoing or already obtain.
• 4 years of professional experience in audit with commodity knowledge.
• Interest in understanding and learning more about financial instruments accounting, audit methods as a specialist.
• Open and communicative person.
• Proficient skills in French and English.
• Committed, convincing and entrepreneurial personality.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse clients throughout the year, enabling a steep learning curve.
• Lead on financial instruments accounting topics for large audit and advisory engagements.
• Take responsibility on audit sections related to financial instruments.
• Liaise for treasury and financial instruments accounting topics across large audit clients.
• Participate in treasury innovation to develop FX management, hedge accounting, valuation, working capital management, debt advice.

Your contribution to KPMG

• As a specialist, you will work with many different clients throughout the year allowing a steep learning curve
• Be responsible for financial instruments accounting topics as specialist on large audit clients but also at large advisory engagements
• Take responsibility on the audit sections related to financial instruments
• Be the liaison person for treasury and financial instruments accounting topics for our large audit clients throughout the year
• Participate in our treasury innovation team to develop new technologies and solutions with regard to FX Management, Hedge Accounting, Valuation, Working Capital Management, Debt Advice
• Build up a network within our European Corporate Treasury and Financial Instruments community
• Choose between a hybrid approach of Audit and Advisory or main focus on audit as a specialist – depending on your preference
