Job summary

Finders SA in Zurich, Switzerland, seeks a Senior OpenStack Engineer to design, operate, and evolve a large-scale OpenStack platform supporting enterprise services.

You will architect compute, storage, and networking, automate deployments with Ansible and OpenTofu, and lead operational improvements while collaborating with infrastructure and engineering teams. Fluent German and good English are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical qualification.
• /n/Several years of experience designing and operating OpenStack environments.
• Strong expertise in Linux administration and container technologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking, and storage technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent German (C1 level) and good English.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
