Zusammenfassung

Abbott in Zurich seeks a Senior NPI Engineer to lead industrialization and manufacturing scale-up of next generation circulatory support systems. You will partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, and suppliers across Zurich and Pleasanton to drive design transfer and production ramp-up from development to commercial launch.

You will own validation plans, PFMEAs, control plans, and process documentation while supporting pilot and production builds and supplier readiness.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical/mechatronics or related engineering.
7+ years in NPI, manufacturing engineering, process development, industrialization, or design transfer in a regulated industry.
Experience developing and validating manufacturing processes for complex electromechanical products.

Aufgaben

Lead manufacturing process development, design transfer, and readiness from concept to launch.
Develop, characterize, optimize, and scale manufacturing processes for assembly, calibration, testing, inspection, and packaging.
Drive DFMs/DFAs with R&D to improve manufacturability and assembly.
Translate product requirements into manufacturing specs, process parameters, equipment needs, and control strategies.
