Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, seeks an experienced MSAT professional to lead the transfer, scale-up, supervision and optimization of mammalian cell culture processes. You will be a process science expert, contributing to the MSAT toolbox and assuming long-term process ownership.

You will drive tech transfers, ensure scalability, manage risk, and collaborate with customers and internal teams across the product lifecycle, including on-call support and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in biotechnology, chemical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or process development.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and mammalian cell culture processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead tech transfers and scale-up for mammalian cell culture processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through project lifecycle.
• Ensure process scalability and manufacturability during transfers.
• Manage process-related deviations and change control activities.
• Support on-call manufacturing issues and regulatory compliance.
