Gravis Robotics is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to bridge the sim2real gap for autonomous control of heavy equipment. Work on ML models for dynamics, data-driven architecture choices, and performance validation using real robotic systems in Zurich.

You will collaborate with autonomy and simulation teams, leverage Python/PyTorch, and contribute to end-to-end model development for robust sim2real transfer.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python and PyTorch, strong git skills.
• Solid experience modeling time-series or dynamical-system data from large datasets - sequence models, system identification, or state-space approaches.
• Strong analytical skills: you design the experiment, run the ablation, and draw a defendable conclusion.

Aufgaben

• Machine & dynamics modeling: Build ML models to bridge the sim2real gap and decide architectures with data.
• Performance monitoring: Define metrics and validation methodology for model fidelity and sim2real transfer; detect time-varying machine properties.
