Job summary

Explora Journeys, Geneva-based luxury travel brand, seeks a Destinations Experience Senior Manager - River to lead the end-to-end design, launch and refinement of river destination experiences, land programs, pre- and post-cruise extensions, and signature shoreside products.

You will partner with TOs, DMCs and internal teams to select ports, develop narratives, shape itineraries, manage contracting, price strategies and system setup across Seaware, Otalio, and Crunchtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and extensive industry (tourism, cruise) experience.
• At least 10 years Shorex experience onboard or on shore for a luxury River Cruise company.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end river destination experiences and shore programs.
• Solicit, evaluate, and procure TOs and DMCs per Explora Journeys standards.
• Influence itinerary development through port selection and narrative.
• Develop new destination experiences across current and future products.
• Collaborate with revenue, marketing to price, allocate, and optimize demand.
• Coordinate with digital, IT, and content teams to publish experiences.
• Train onboard teams, travel advisors, and sales on product details.
• Support HR in hiring interviews and shipboard rotations.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends.
• Monitor guest experience trends and advise suppliers for improvements.
