Senior LNG Origination & Trading Lead

Zusammenfassung

MET International AG (METI) seeks a Market access focal point for LNG origination with 4+ years of commercial analysis experience. You will originate mid to long-term LNG transactions, coordinating with internal and external teams, drafting termsheets and negotiating terms aligned with MET LNG strategy.

Build and maintain relationships with external players to identify opportunities and support hedges and capacity positioning.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in LNG and/or natural gas origination with min 4 years related commercial analysis and/or origination experience
• Experience drafting, negotiating and executing mid/long term LNG and/or natural gas contracts
• Strong attention to detail especially when it comes to transaction structuring and modelling
• Shows a desire to continually improve and innovate in analytical approaches/methodologies
• Experience drafting board proposals and C level decks
• Strong network within LNG industry a plus
• Strong network with upstream US companies a plus
• Excellent problem-solving ability, creative in finding alternative solutions
• Independent thinker but able to work well with others in a team
• Geographical focus shall be global, and other ad hoc in line with LNG desk requirement
• Requires close/daily coordination with internal colleagues & other MET Group subsidiaries

Aufgaben

• Market access focal point for the assigned region's counterparties
• Originate LNG (including natural gas component, if any) mid to long-term transactions (i.e., 3 years and beyond) from KYC to gathering intel to structuring termsheets to execution, including negotiating and contracting terms in coordination with external and internal teams that are aligned with MET LNG strategy
• Leverage and maintain excellent relationships with external players to provide intel and identify opportunities for new transactions
• Support structuring of related hedges/trades and capacity positions with internal team(s)
• Any ad hoc duties
