Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Research Staff member in Switzerland to advance large language models and transformer architectures. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in applied deep learning research.
• Strong understanding of neural network architectures and loss functions.
• Proven hands-on experience with large language models, data curation, distributed training, transformer optimization, and RL.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other research scientists to identify and develop new LLM initiatives.
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize existing methods and emerging techniques.
• Design, plan, and execute experiments to investigate LLM development and optimization.
• Research and improve transformer architectures, including design, training methods, and performance optimization.
• Lead large-scale LLM training initiatives using distributed computing.
• Investigate data curation strategies, training efficiency, and model optimization.
• Translate successful experiments into scalable, production-ready models.
• Contribute to deployment of new models for real-world products.
• Document findings and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Monitor latest DL and LLM developments for potential product applications.
• Leverage AI tools to automate workflows and accelerate experimentation.
