Zusammenfassung

Finders SA in Zurich is seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to support operation, development and expansion of its OpenStack cloud environment. You will design, build and automate cloud platforms, manage infrastructure as code, and work with teams across networking, storage and security. German C1 and English are required, and up to 60% home office is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience as a Linux System/Platform Engineer or Linux Administrator.
• Strong Linux expertise in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization, containers and Infrastructure as Code.
• Good understanding of networking, storage and high-availability environments.
• OpenStack experience is highly advantageous.
• German C1 and good English required.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty.

Aufgaben

• Operate, develop and automate cloud platforms
• Design, build and optimise the OpenStack environment
• Implement infrastructure automation using Ansible, OpenTofu and Terraform
• Ensure performance, availability, security and platform stability
• Troubleshoot complex issues at 2nd and 3rd level
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network and storage teams
• Contribute to cloud architecture and technology decisions
