HCLTech is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Engineer to scale and secure enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms. You will implement IaC (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD), and configuration management (Ansible) across hybrid/cloud environments.

The role emphasizes mentorship, security, and reliability, with a 6-month fixed-term contract and initial 5-day-in-office work, transitioning to hybrid work arrangement. Bioggio, Switzerland location.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of core, relevant DevOps engineering experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes cluster design, security, networking, storage.
• Proficient with Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and state management.
• Git workflows expertise and GitLab CI/CD pipeline building.

Aufgaben

• Container Orchestration: design, deploy, configure, and manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters with HA and security.
• IaC: architect and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform across hybrid or cloud environments.
• Automation: write modular Ansible playbooks for configuration, deployment, and operations.
• CI/CD: build and maintain secure, robust build/test/release pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
• Platform Reliability: monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Kubernetes and deployment pipelines.
• Mentorship: provide technical leadership and governance of Git workflows and DevOps practices.
