Job summary

Luxoft in Zurich seeks an experienced Java Developer to join a global engineering team. You will design and build microservices and enterprise applications, with a focus on scalable backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot, REST APIs, and automated tests.

You will work in a hybrid model (3 days on-site in Zurich), collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, and leverage Azure cloud services, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to deliver secure, performant software.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Java development experience (Java 21+).
• Spring Boot 3.x / Spring Framework proficiency.
• JSF (Jakarta Faces) mandatory; JoinFaces/PrimeFaces/OmniFaces familiarity.
• Strong microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Hibernate/JPA and SQL performance optimization.
• JUnit/Mockito for unit testing.
• Experience with IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server.
• Azure cloud services like App Services, AKS, Key Vault, Storage.
• Git, CI/CD, DevOps practices; Docker/Kubernetes.
• GitHub Copilot / AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities
