Job summary

Luxoft in Zurich is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a global engineering team. Hybrid work — 3 days per week from the Zurich office.

You will design and develop microservices and enterprise applications, build scalable backend systems with Java/Spring Boot, and develop RESTful APIs. The role emphasizes automated testing, performance optimization, and cloud-native work on Azure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Java development experience required.
• Strong experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Proficiency in JSF and related technologies (JoinFaces/PrimeFaces/OmniFaces).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and data access with Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Database performance optimization (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, DB2).
• Automated tests and TDD/BDD practices.
• Azure cloud experience and cloud-native app development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices and enterprise applications.
