Job summary

Fincons Group in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java backend expertise to join an Agile Release Train in a SAFe context. You will contribute to CRM projects, develop transversal features, and fix bugs in enterprise systems.

You should have a Bachelor's/Master's in CS or engineering, at least 5 years of Java experience (21+ to 25), knowledge of microservices, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or engineering.
• At least 5 years of Java backend design and development experience.
• Expertise in Java 21+; microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data and RESTful API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, including entity modeling and query optimization.
• Test automation with JUnit and TDD; Cucumber is a plus.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Versioning and CI/CD with Git and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of SwaggerHub and API payloads (JSON).
• Experience in Agile and SAFe environments.
• Proficiency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test Java-based backend solutions, microservices architectures, and REST APIs.
• Act as a subject matter expert, supporting lifecycle management and development of Java solutions.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to gather requirements and document solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Apply secure coding practices to ensure robust, secure solutions.
