Zusammenfassung

Belimo seeks an Intellectual Property Expert for the Digital Ecosystem to safeguard and expand the IP portfolio. You will work with external patent attorneys, technical experts, and business stakeholders to guide patents, designs, and broader IP matters.

You will drive IP strategy, support invention disclosures, and provide training, reporting, and consultation across technical disciplines. Strong English and German skills are required.

Qualifikationen

Degree in Engineering or related technical field with IP qualification or substantial IP experience.
Several years in an industrial or consulting IP role.
Solid understanding of patents and designs and IP management.
Experience with embedded software development is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with external patent attorneys and service providers.

Aufgaben

Manage, maintain, and renew patent and design portfolio per IP strategy and budget.
Support invention disclosures and patent applications, including prior art searches.
Perform FTO assessments in IP-relevant projects.
Coordinate patent searches, competitive intelligence, and IP monitoring.
Advise business units on patent/design matters through training and workshops.
Represent IP in cross-functional meetings and technical discussions.
Administer parts of the IP portfolio and related processes.
Contribute to broader IP topics including copyrights, trade secrets, NDAs, licensing, and R&D contracts.
