Fortil is seeking a Hardware Validation / Bring-Up Engineer to join an international engineering and technology consulting group. The role involves hardware validation, board bring-up, debugging and documentation for electronic products in structured environments.

You hold a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, with 5–10 years’ experience in hardware testing and validation. Fluency in English is mandatory; French is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Candidate has 5–10 years in hardware testing, validation, bring-up or board debugging.
• Experience reading schematics and writing validation reports is required.
• Hands-on lab experience with PCBA testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience in regulated or aerospace/industrial environments is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Participate in hardware validation, qualification and verification activities.
• Perform board bring-up, debugging and troubleshooting of electronic boards.
• Execute test plans and document test results.
• Support design teams during issue analysis and corrective actions.
• Contribute to PCBA-level and product-level validation.
• Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators and analyzers.
• Support EMC, ESD, thermal or vibration testing when required.
• Contribute to design reviews and technical documentation.
• Support industrialization and production readiness.
