Halian Group is seeking an experienced Senior Group Risk Underwriter to join the Zurich-based team. The role involves working across Group Life, Disability, Accident, and Health, providing technical guidance and collaborating with pricing and risk specialists to support profitable growth.

Candidates should have extensive Group Insurance underwriting and pricing experience, strong stakeholder management, and fluency in English.

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience in Group Insurance underwriting and/or pricing.
• Strong knowledge of Group Life, Disability, Accident, and Health products.
• Solid understanding of underwriting principles, risk assessment methodologies, claims analysis, and pricing concepts.
• Ability to make sound underwriting decisions in complex situations with limited information.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills in international environments.
• Fluency in English; additional languages and actuarial training are advantageous.

Mansioni

• Provide technical guidance on complex group insurance underwriting referrals across international markets.
• Assess risk exposure, pricing adequacy, claims experience, policy terms, and reinsurance considerations for large or non-standard cases.
• Partner with local underwriting and pricing teams to develop commercially viable solutions.
• Support the development and maintenance of underwriting standards, governance frameworks, and technical guidelines.
• Contribute to underwriting reviews, quality assurance activities, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Share technical knowledge to support product, proposition, and pricing developments across the wider business.
