Job summary

Zurich Insurance Group AG in Zürich invites an experienced Senior Group Life Underwriter to join its global Group Underwriting team. You will assess complex group referrals across Life, Disability and Health, provide expert pricing and risk assessment, and support local teams to grow profitable business.

You bring 8+ years in group pricing or scheme underwriting within life or reinsurance, with strong communication skills and English fluency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in group pricing and/or scheme underwriting within life, disability and health insurance or reinsurance.
• Actuarial training is an advantage.
• Ability to work across markets and adapt to different cultures and business environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on complex Group underwriting referrals from markets across Zurich’s global portfolio.
• Challenge proposals when needed and develop practical solutions for non-standard business opportunities.
• Support development and maintenance of Group underwriting standards, authorities and guidance.
• Contribute to Technical Underwriting Reviews and other assurance activities.
