Zusammenfassung

u-blox is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join the Application Engineering department. You will deliver technical support to global customers, coordinate with Product Development, R&D, Product Management, Field Application Engineering, Sales and Quality teams.

You will act as a technical product expert and gather customer feedback to influence product requirements. Success requires understanding software and hardware concepts, GNSS experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to understand customer system architectures and provide expert technical support.
• Ability to replicate and analyze customer related issues using support tools and laboratory equipment.
• Data analysis, issue investigation, triage and follow-up with internal teams and customers, including bug fixes and workarounds.
• Hands-on experience with validation tools, development hardware, and test equipment.
• Self-driven, highly organized with strong time management and prioritization.
• Excellent communication skills to interface with internal subsidiaries and customers worldwide.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Manage customer expectations and provide high-quality on-site and remote technical support for GNSS applications and projects.
• Author and contribute to technical product documentation (datasheets, manuals, application notes).
• Provide customized design-in vehicles, prototypes and tailored technical solutions.
• Analyze non-conformities and support root-cause investigations with R&D and Quality teams.
• Collect and process customer feedback to drive product enhancements.
• Provide support from design-in through maintenance for seamless integration.
• Host technical trainings and workshops for Field Application Engineers and customers worldwide.
