Julius Baer, a leading Swiss private bank headquartered in Zurich, seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape the frontend architecture of mission-critical platforms. You will drive high-quality React/TypeScript solutions and collaborate with UX/UI designers in a regulated financial environment.

You will contribute to a strategic channel integrating with the e-banking platform, influencing architecture, scalability, and the operational model from an early stage.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive hands-on experience in JavaScript and TypeScript with React at enterprise scale.
• Deep understanding of modern frontend ecosystems, tools, and frameworks (React, Node.js, build tooling).
• Proven experience with design systems and large shared component libraries.
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments and bash scripting.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to API security, OAuth2, and related standards.
• Experience in the financial services or other highly regulated industries is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of complex frontend solutions ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality interfaces.
• Deliver production-grade React and TypeScript code for complex financial applications.
• Address frontend challenges such as state management, performance optimization, and backend integration.
• Refactor and modernize existing codebases where needed.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in development and production.
• Contribute actively in an agile, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
