Job summary

Julius Baer in Switzerland seeks a senior Front Arena specialist to implement new structured products across the value chain from front office to mid-office, ensuring accurate product representation and lifecycle management.

You will customise and extend Front Arena, design and deploy robust functions across trading and back-office, own critical services, and lead integration with pricing, market data, and risk engines while aligning with SAFe delivery.

Qualifications

• Senior Front Arena professional with 10+ years in trading, mid-office, valuation, and risk.
• Expertise in Front Arena AEL, ACM, and ADFL required.
• Deep knowledge of capital markets, structured products, and equity derivatives.
• Understand financial product lifecycles (cash flows, corporate actions, expiries).
• Experience with Front Arena data models and workflows.
• Comfortable working in Agile teams using Git/Bitbucket.
• Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Willing to work on Swiss holidays when markets are open.

Responsibilities

• Customise and extend Front Arena to deliver new risk and valuation capabilities.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Front Arena functionalities across trading and back-office.
• Ensure end-to-end ownership of critical services with high availability.
• Lead integration between Front Arena and pricing, market data, risk engines.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents efficiently.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality and security.
• Identify system improvements to boost performance and resilience.
• Contribute to change and release management in an agile SAFe delivery.
• Uphold ethical conduct, risk discipline, and regulatory compliance.
