Sigma, Basel-based financial institution, seeks a Senior FIX Engineer to join the Trading Applications team onsite in Basel. You will own FIX interfaces, connectivity and related infrastructure for the live trading environment, collaborating with traders, developers and external brokers.

The role requires banking industry experience, strong FIX protocol knowledge, and hands-on configuration, troubleshooting and integration skills. Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus.

Competenze

• Banking domain experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on FIX protocol and interfaces experience.
• Experience with trading applications and market connectivity.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, TLS, and Windows environments.
• Python knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
