Qualifikationen

• Banking environment experience mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience with FIX Protocol and FIX interfaces.
• Experience with trading applications, electronic trading or market connectivity.
• Understanding of trading processes and financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, FX and/or Derivatives).
• Grounding in TCP/IP, TLS, encryption and Windows environments.
• Experience in application configuration, integration, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Around 5 years of relevant experience; stronger seniority considered.
• Education in CS/Engineering/Natural Sciences or related technical field.
• Knowledge of Python is an advantage.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to work fully onsite in Basel.

Aufgaben

• Customize, configure and maintain FIX interfaces and connectivity
• Define and improve technical processes around order routing, market access and trade processing
• Implement, configure and test new functionalities across trading applications and connected systems
• Troubleshoot application, interface and connectivity issues
• Support integrations between internal trading platforms and external brokers or market systems
• Analyse incidents and requirements with trading users and business stakeholders
• Handle technical topics related to TCP/IP connectivity, TLS and encryption
• Create and maintain technical documentation
