Zusammenfassung

OHCHR in Geneva seeks a Senior Evaluation Officer to lead the design and management of programme and process evaluations, ensuring impartial, credible results in line with UN norms.

The role integrates gender and cross-cutting issues, provides technical guidance to staff, and contributes to RBM capacity development. You will report to the Chief and represent OHCHR in UNEG activities as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree or equivalent in a relevant field (social sciences, international relations, development studies).
• Extensive experience in programme management and evaluations within an international context.
• Strong understanding of RBM, knowledge management, and gender mainstreaming.

Aufgaben

• Ensure impartial, independent, and credible evaluations in line with UN norms.
• Lead design and management of programme and process evaluations across divisions.
• Integrate gender and cross-cutting issues into the OHCHR evaluation system.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise evaluation staff and consultants.
• Prepare progress reports, liaison with divisions, and support action plans for recommendations.
• Represent OHCHR in UNEG and related networks when required.
• Support capacity development in RBM and contribute to organizational learning.
