Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland seeks an experienced Evaluation Officer to lead evaluation design and management. Responsibilities include preparing action plans, progress reports, and ensuring evaluation results inform strategic decisions and policy development across OHCHR.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (Master or Doctorate).
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in programme management.
• Experience as an Evaluation Officer within UN or similar international organisations is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Leads design and management of all process and programme evaluations.
• Ensures evaluations are impartial, independent and credible; adheres to UN norms and standards.
• Integrates gender and cross-cutting issues into OHCHR's evaluation system.
• Provides guidance and technical support to staff for evaluations and reviews.
• Prepares management responses and progress reports on evaluation recommendations.
• Represents OHCHR in UNEG and collaborates with evaluation networks.
