Zusammenfassung

Harmattan AI is seeking an Embedded Electrical Engineer to join the R&D team and own compute modules from architecture to bring-up and qualification. You will design SoMs, baseboards, and test boards for our autonomous defense platforms, ensuring high-speed performance and robust power delivery.

You will collaborate across software, mechanical, and validation teams, lead design reviews, and work with fabrication partners to deliver boards that fly in mission-critical environments.

Qualifikationen

• MSc in electrical, computer, or related field; hands-on design and bring-up track valued.
• 5+ years in embedded hardware design from spec to production.
• High-speed design, signal integrity, and power topology knowledge.
• Experience with Altium and PCB fabrication/assembly partners.
• Ability to communicate results to engineers and leadership.

Aufgaben

• Board Design: design SoMs, baseboards, and test boards for compute platforms.
• High-Speed Digital Design: PCIe, 10 Gb Ethernet, USB 3.x, MIPI; ensure signal integrity.
• Power Design: develop power trees, sequencing, and conversion topologies; verify power-up/down.
• Design Reviews: lead reviews from block diagram to fabrication release.
• Manufacture: collaborate with PCB/EMS partners on stack-up and cost trade-offs.
• Bring Up and Qualification: verification plans, troubleshooting, thermal/vibration/EMC/ESD tests.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with software, mechanics, and validation teams.
