Genius Sports is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Edge Computing team in Lausanne. You will help scale real-time player tracking and analytics across venues, owning end-to-end Linux server and application deployment, monitoring, and automation.

You will work in a hybrid Lausanne office, four days a week, collaborating with a cross-functional team. Strong Linux, Python, and Bash skills are required, with experience in Kubernetes and Docker preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years experience in SRE with Linux.
• Strong understanding of the Linux server stack (OS boot, systemd, networking, containers, logging, monitoring).
• Proficient with Python and Bash scripting.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with diverse audiences.

Aufgaben

• Design and code end-to-end processes to enable autonomous setup, install, and monitoring of Linux servers, networking devices and cameras across venues.
• Design and code deployment and monitoring processes for player tracking and augmentation apps.
• Own long-term technical efforts and articulate design choices to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teammates to solve problems and share knowledge.
• Participate in on-call rotations to minimize escalations.
