Genius Sports in Lausanne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Edge Vision Platform within the Data & AI group. You will design and implement backend services and iOS camera integration that enable high‑volume, real‑time video capture and analysis across sport venues.

You will own long‑term technical initiatives, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and participate in on‑call rotations while visiting the Lausanne Jordils office four days a week.

Qualifikationen

• Swiss/EU/EFTA citizen or residency permit in Switzerland
• 5+ years experience as a backend or software engineer
• Proficient with at least one programming language among Rust, Swift and Go
• Strong experience designing, implementing and operating complex HTTP and WebSocket services at scale
• Strong experience with concurrent programming
• Ability to communicate efficiently and articulate concepts based on the audience

Aufgaben

• Design and code backend services and iOS camera application capabilities that support the Vision platform across sport venues worldwide
• Design and code end-to-end processes enabling operational staff to deploy, monitor and diagnose video capture devices and services
• Take ownership of long-term technical efforts and articulate design choices to technical and non-technical people
• Collaborate closely with teammates to solve problems, share knowledge and provide actionable feedback
• Participate in an on-call rotation that emphasizes eliminating repeating escalations
• Visit our Lausanne Jordils office 4 times per week, with flexible hours
