Jobgether partners with a Switzerland-based company to recruit an E/E System Architect for Vehicle Architecture. Lead the creation of robust vehicle-level E/E architectures, translating functional and regulatory requirements into system, subsystem, ECU, and component designs across CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet networks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and technology partners to ensure architectural consistency, perform validation and reviews, and drive

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Several years of experience in E/E systems development in automotive or off-highway sectors.
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architectures and requirements engineering.
• Familiarity with CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and UDS diagnostics.
• Experience with MBSE/SysML-based tools such as PREEvision/DOORS/Enterprise Architect/MATLAB.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE; ISO/SAE 21434 is an advantage.
• Understanding ECU hardware, embedded software, wiring harnesses, and vehicle architectures.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
• Excellent English; German proficiency advantageous.

• Define and maintain vehicle-level E/E architectures aligned with requirements.
• Translate requirements into system-, subsystem-, ECU-, and component-level specs.
• Define interfaces, signal flows, and communication concepts.
• Design and assess CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and diagnostic networks.
• Coordinate ECU, sensor, actuator, and software integration across domains.
• Collaborate with teams, suppliers, and partners to ensure architectural consistency.
• Participate in architecture reviews, integration activities, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Perform change impact assessments on vehicle-level systems.
• Maintain requirements traceability across the full vehicle architecture.
• Support development processes and drive continuous design improvements.
