Job summary

EPAM Systems in Zurich, Switzerland is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a hybrid team. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and improve observability across enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise apps.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows administration for production environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments for reliability and performance
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab CI/CD, manage IaC with Ansible, YAML and JSON
• Automate deployment and ops with Python and Bash scripting
• Support deployments, upgrades and releases in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Deploy and manage observability stacks including OpenTelemetry and Grafana
• Develop dashboards, alerts and reports for incident response
• Analyze performance metrics to optimize scalability and efficiency
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis
• Extend Python automation frameworks to reduce manual work in monitoring and deployment
• Document processes, create SOPs and participate in on-call rotations for incident management
